Ordinarily I think of wildfire smoke as ruining the scenery, but this image seemed beautiful despite it — haunting and muted. There are a couple Jade Lakes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. This one is between Marmot Lake and Mt. Daniel, in the very center of the wilderness.
